Had two questions come in about the internals, so I am posting those pictures. What is likely known to someone familiar with these but I didn’t know was what the light tan colored substance was on that gear mechanism and it appeared like it could be something dried out but in fact it is like a paste, don’t know if that is a lubrication or something similar to what I’ve seen on computer boards. But that mechanism does indeed go up-and-down correctly with the pedal going up and down. Thank you!
