Vintage Tube RADIO PHILCO TRANSITONE 52-540 M BLACK Bakelite Retro 1952 Works

Description

This is a very nice - Vintage Tube PHILCO TRANSITONE, model 52-540M BLACK Bakelite Radio from circa 1952.
Radio Works fine, but has a bit of hum and clicking sound too.
Radio is in decent structural condition, but has a crack on the left rear of the top of the cabinet (see picture closeup).
Also, the radio is missing it's rear cover.
The tuner needle moves no problem, and the volume button clicks on and off with no issues, and the sound is decent in my opinion.
Unit is about 11" long, by about 5.5" deep, by about 6" tall.  It weighs about 5 lbs.
This radio has a great look to it.
