Vintage Philco Model 40-100 Farm/Battery Radio - 1940

Description

1940 vintage Philco model 40-100 farm radio. This radio was designed to run on battery power and requires a 1.5V "A" battery and 90V "B" battery. Radio has been recapped with any bad wiring replaced and is in working condition.
However this will require a battery supply or battery eliminator to be played (not included).
Cosmetically the original finish on the top and sides is in good shape with minor wear. The front panel and base molding have been refinished. The grill cloth is a reproduction. The dial cover is a reproduction with a few flaws (does not fit the bezel real well) and it is not riveted in.
This is a great display piece and will look wonderful in a vintage farm house. Radio will be shipped double boxed and well packed so that it arrives safely.
