VINTAGE MIDGET BAKELITE RADIO BY SENTINEL, 1947, WORKS!
Midget radio.  Bakelite cabinet, made by Sentinel.

his radio has a 5 tube lineup, tuning the AM broadcast band.  This radio would be classified as "midget" as it measures only 8 inches long by 5 inches high by 5 inches deep.  Weight is only 4 pounds.  The radio plays great across the AM band.  The bakelite cabinet is in great shape and has been cleaned but could use a final polishing.  This is a cute little radio that is in great condition!
