The Moody Blues Signed Drum Stick 7 Signatures - Used In Concert.
This was used by Graham Edge at a concert at The Irvine Meadows Amphitheater in Irvine California. It was tossed out into the audience. It was traded to me by a friend who caught it. We were sitting close to each other. Wish I can remember the actual date/year of the show. I have been to so many Moodies shows through the years, it’s easy to forget. However, not sure they did many in the late 80’s and early 90’s at The Meadows.
I managed to get Justin Hayward, John Lodge, RayThomas and Graham Edge to sign it at Tower Records in Hollywood when they were there to sign their box CD set. Patrick Moraz signed it at a Wherehouse Records event he was playing piano at promoting a Cd. I worked with Michael Pinder for two years during his Among the Stars release and had Mike sign it. Finally, I had their producer, Tony Visconti sign it in Hollywood when I hung out with him and his then wife, May Pang.
The stick was new before Graham starting pounding away, so it does show wear from his one time use for the show. This would be a great item to custom frame with photos or albums. Suggestion. They can make a clear tube that can be made to spin in a frame for the stick. In this way, all the signatures can be displayed. Other existing signatures of Denny Laine and Clint Warwick can be framed along side it.
