The Southbend EZ-5 EZ Steam 5 Pan Countertop Steamer is a great, reliable option for creating deliciously steamed fare. Designed without a boiler and free of any connections this unit is highly versatile yet quite capable. The EZ-5 is powered by electricity and operates simply by manually filling its onboard reservoir with water. The unit emits an audible alarm when it is low on water and has a steam diffuser plate designed to keep objects from falling into said water. This units 5-pan capacity is also more than enough to keep up with the demand of some of the busiest kitchens.
This EZ Steam has an exterior constructed out of 304 stainless steel for durability and a heavy gauge stainless steel door with a full perimeter gasket. The doors positive seal and lock set-up prevents loss of steam during cooking. A 60-minute electromechanical manual timer emits an audible beep when the cabinet is ready for cooking and when the cooking cycle is complete. 4" adjustable legs allow you to line up this appliance equally with other pieces of countertop equipment.
