Description
For your consideration, a rare antique two-handled prize trophy made by Manning, Bowman & Co that stands 7 3/4 inches tall. It is inscribed: Public Butter Test Prize 1911 / Rutland County Fair / Won By / "Alfrecha Meadows" / with / Della Dear 249973. The cup is 4 3/4 inches in diameter at the top. It is marked on the bottom along with the number 1224. Composed of copper and pewter (or silverplate)--it shows some wear (on the handles) and leans a bit to the right (likely from a drop years ago). Don't let this get away from you--it's in lovely condition considering its age. In case you are wondering, it was purchased from an estate sale in a farm in Rutland, Vermont. HO--2015--40
