    Description

    Unique Antique Radio Grille Cloth
After over 15 years, I'm getting out of the grill cloth business, and am selling off the final remaining pieces of my stock. This very useful pattern is literally down to the final 3 pieces, so if you have meant to get some for yourself, let this be your "fair warning" to buy today while there's still some left!
This listing is for one piece of grill cloth fabric 10" x 12", and you can have your choice of which color you prefer. This pattern #23 is a very versatile, finely-woven burlap-style fabric, in two color varieties: Honey/golden brown (shown on the Sentinel catalin, Zenith tombstone, AK speaker, Philips set, and the Emerson Ingraham, also shown with coin for perspective) and the lighter colored Wheat/Oatmeal shade (shown on the Philco "butterfly" and the KB "rhapsody" radio).
Any radios pictured are included FOR COMPARISON PURPOSES ONLY. Auction is for FABRIC ONLY. Radios/loudspeakers pictured above are not for sale and not part of this auction. Philips radio is courtesy of eBayer veleiro2001. Thanks, Henrique!)
(FYI: Atwater Kent speaker shows original fabric, which my pattern #23 is a superb repro for. AK speakers require a 12" x 12" piece, and costs .99)
Each piece is 10" x 12", but I cut my fabric a bit larger in both dimensions so you're sure to get enough. This is big enough for two small tabletop sets or one large cathedral or tombstone. Shipping to any U.S. address is FREE. International buyers add .95 for First Class International mail. Console-sized pieces or custom sizes are also available. Email "bretsoldradios at att dot net" with any questions.
If the pic above is not enough to decide which pattern(s) you need, see my other items to buy a sample sheet with 2"x2" swatches of all my patterns. Plus, check out my Other Items for a selection of NOS and nice used tubes, and my 5-volume restoration DVDs.
