Description
Extremely rare 1930's Radiobar with original glassware offered for sale.The history of the Radiobar dates back to the days of Prohibition with the need to have a functional piece of furniture where the liquor and glasses could be stored out of sight. This was made possible by the Radiobar Company of America, founded by Earnest J. Krause, a Beverly Hills inventor and businessman. The radiobars were only found in the homes of the affluent.
Radiobars can be seen in movie classics such as Gold Diggers(1933), Angels with Dirty Faces (1938), It's a Wonderful Life (1946), The Cincinnati Kid (1965).
Dimensions 45"tall closed/58" tall open, 27" wide closed/51 1/2" wide open and 14" deep.
