INTRODUCTION
The  ARCA SWISS quick connect/disconnect system over last 30 years became an  industry standard for attaching photographic cameras, video cameras and variety  of peripheral equipment.  The  Monopod/Tripod Head with knob locked clamp is one of the basic block components  of the system. The Head can be quickly attached to either monopod or tripod  base or leveling base. The clamp is affixed on the top of the head. It allows  for quick attach of any camera equipped with matching  “V” plate or “L-plate. Clamp locks with  tenacious force. It can be used also for mounting or attaching heavy Tele-Photo  lenses equipped with Lens Foot that utilize matching “V” groves.  The Head allows to position camera/lens under  any angle from horizontal to vertical position. It can be used together with:  panoramic or macro assemblies, as well as variety of “V” and L-plates.   Applications are endless.  You can build your own system around  Monopod/Tripod head as it fit your need.
DESCRIPTION
The  Monopod/Tripod Heads and clamp are precisely  machined to tight tolerances. All parts are made from aluminum alloy, are very  light and strong.  All surfaces are black  hard coat anodized for years of trouble free performance. The pitch of heads can be  easily adjusted in vertical direction from –90 degree thru horizontal up to +90  degree vertical.  This can be achieved by  loosening large lock knob  and repositioning clamp support plate (swing arm)   to desired position.
MOUNTING AND MAINTENANCE
Attach Head to your monopod or tripod by spinning it   or 3/8-16 threaded mount.  Attach clamp to the tripod/monopod  head  with 1/4-20 SHCS mounting screw  supplied.  Make sure you always keep  head, clamp and matching components clean, free of dirt, or moisture.
If needed clean with cloth then dry it out and keep it clean  all the time. Please note that the clamp can be re-positioned by +/-90 degree  as needed, by loosening central mounting screw and moving clamp accordingly,  then re-tightening central mounting screw again.
