Tuner output is isolated for sonic excellence
We've tried countless volume pedals here at Sweetwater, and we've found that how a tuner output is wired can have a big effect on your tone. The tuner out on the VM-1 Aero is completely isolated via a mute switch accessed at the toe position — like a wah pedal's switch. The mute switch isolates the tuner output, eliminating the additional resistance and capacitance that would otherwise rot your tone.
Curved heel position for seated players
Unlike most volume, expression, and wah pedals, the Mission Engineering VM-1 Aero doesn't feel awkward to play while seated. Its curved heel position allows your foot to rest more naturally and feels better for your ankle when you're trying to make subtle movements.
