Description
This souvenir ax looks like it could have come from the same mold as the World Columbian Exposition souvenirs made by Libby Glass Company. It has a crack as seen in the photo, a shallow chip on the blade and some fleabites where a child tried using it I suspect. Along the handle is the fair name and year plus J. H. So, we can assume these were etched at the Fair and not before hand.
