Heating operation uses a surface-mounted, rope-style heating element. For convenience and flexibility, both the control box and the condenser unit can be mounted up to 4' away from the shelf, which is especially helpful if you have a large service or buffet area where multiple power cords are running below the table. The decorative, Swanstone top emulates the look of stone and lays flush within your countertop, which helps prevent crumbs, spills, and bacteria from collecting in any cracks.
