Automation Industries, Inc. - Angle Beam (Shear Wave) Wedge Assemblies.
This Unique Fixture is made to hold Standard Contact 1/2" & 3/4" Transducers.
It allows the quick interchanging of various size &
frequency
Transducers. It also allow the quick interchanging of Shear Wave Shoes. Included is a SFZ, 57A2218, 5.0 MHz/.750" Transducer. It also includes 10 Angle Beam Shoes. Compare the part number in the picture to the original factory catalog data sheets. Also included is a 57C4424 "Bubbler" Shoe which allows the direct injection of couplant; i.e. water or conventional contact couplant. This feature facilitates speed & consistency of your testing technique. You provide an external pumping system and reservoir (not included)

This Stainless Steel fixture is in
"Like New"
condition. I personally tested the Transducer to confirm it works. Some of the Shoes are new, some have been used during Salesman's Demonstrations. This was part of our Salesman's Demonstration Equipment Inventory. We are no longer in business and now selling off this type on Inventory. We once operated under the name of Pennsylvania Instrument Corporation for 40 years.
