Description

Equipped with Halo Heat® technology, the Alto-Shaam 500-S insulated mobile heated cabinet maintains uniform product temperatures throughout the interior by completely surrounding the food without cooking it. It accommodates six food pans on two chrome-plated side racks and two wire shelves that are adjustable on 11 position guides. Using the up and down arrows, operators can adjust the holding temperature between 60 and 200 degrees Fahrenheit.
Because the door of the Alto-Shaam 500-S mobile heated cabinet is vented, humidity can escape, maintaining the texture of crispy foods. It works well with meat, potatoes, vegetables, and fish, and if the temperature drops, the unit senses the change and recovers heat quickly for consistency. For safety purposes, the door handle is coated with an antimicrobial agent to slow the spread of germs, while a light indicates when the unit is hot so users don't burn themselves. The four casters provide mobility so the cabinet can be moved anywhere in the kitchen.
