1953 Sylvania Tube Type Clock Radio-Chartreuse Bakelite Cabinet-Lighted Dial

For sale is a very cool vintage mid century table top tube radio for restoration
Even though they're ancient by today's standards,
these old
tube
radios
almost always be brought back to life
they just look so classy and have a presence few modern electronics
can
match.
This piece is a 1
953 Sylvania AM Tube Type Clock Radio-
with Chartreuse painted Bakelite Cabinet & Lighted Dial.
The case is in pretty good physical condition
The clock face & front of the radio are really eye catching
There are 2 small hairline cracks on the 10:00 side piece along the back edge
There is wear to the paint on the sides of the case & to a lesser extent on the top
Clock work well &  runs quietly.
The lighted dial does not work but the dimmer knob in back is tight
& I didn't want to force it
Has some dirt on inside of face glass.
Measures 10.5” long, 6.5” wide and 7.5” tall.
This would be a stunning piece restored !
