  • Condition: The nicest original from the pre WW2 era Ive ever seen. I had some difficulty with the photographs due to room lighting but they should be sufficient to see the pluses and flaws.

    Description

    This popular and very collectible radio was in one house and the same room since new; never had direct sunlight. The original finish is easily cleaned up, and I didn't want to mess it up with the wrong cleaners. T
    his radio is way too nice to refinish.
    This is a 10 tube chassis with USA made 6V6GT audio output tubes for room filling high quality audio. Those tubes were tested on my Hickok 752A and are near full output and closely balanced/matched. I do not put bad audio tubes in radios as some others do and sell the good ones separately.
    There is absolutely no rust on the chassis, just a few pencil marks.
    I have not done anything to the electronics except confirm the power and audio transformers are not shorted, The actual restoration to original performance is rather easy due to all the room under the chassis.
    I also offer that service as an added option as I have over 50 years of tube equipment experience as a profession and personal hobby. Contact me directly to discuss this.
