Description
Chassis restoration included replacing all electrolytic and paper capacitor, replacing any defective or out of tolerance resistors, checking tubes, repairing or replacing parts as needed, adding a fuse for protection, performing an alignment to achieve peak performance.Included with this radio is a Esinkin Bluetooth receiver. An adaptor was incorporated into the cable to convert from stereo to mono. When in radio mode, the bluetooth receiver should be disconnected from the wall to eliminate RF noise caused by the switching power supply.
One photo of the dial shows the shadow meter tuned to a station (narrow) and the other off station (wide)
The cabinet was repaired and refinished. A previous owner had modified the cabinet such that there was a round bezel in place of the original. To get it back to looking like the original, it was necessary to re-veneer the front and use a reproduction bezel. The grille cloth was also replaced.
There is a squelch control switch on the side of the cabinet with the control at the rear of the chassis. With the switch in the down position, the squelch is off.
Dimensions: 19.5"H X 16.5"D X 12.75"D
The radio will be double boxed for shipping. As the radio is very heavy, shipping will be significant.
