Description
1931 Silver Marshall Model A Superheterodyne Working Console Radio. Very nice ornate solid wood cabinet, beautiful woodwork, lighted dial, original wood knobs, chassis in very nice condition. Displays very nicely. Back of radio lights up like a laboratory when turned on. Working radio, receives local stations and has good volume. I've had it displayed in my foyer for years but my wife tells me it is time to downsize. I've had numerous compliments on the Silver Marshall over the years. I purchased it from an elderly friend who had it for many years. Cabinet is 42-1/4" tall, 24" wide and 13" deep. Weighs about 50 pounds. Will pack well and send FedEx ground insured. A nice piece of early Depression Era Americana. Info and photos below from the Radio Museum:A
